When are hybrid hard drives going to be available? I just ordered a dv9000t with a free HDD bay so I can slide one in to increase performance. Just wondering how much they're going to cost and when to expect them.

There are an umpteen number of threads on the matter. Andrew recently posted that hybrid HDDs in 100-120GB are already released to the OEM market...it's just a matter of weeks to months before we get them in stores.

You have one big problem. You MUST have the Santa Rosa
platform and it's new chipset to support SDD. The current chipsets in laptops do not support SDD.
