I just bought a KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G. 1600Mhz 2x4GB ram from kingston.
I have used AsinTek 2x2GB 1333MHZ in my GX740 and done some nice OC with them on my i5 430m (3.18GHz).
I bought Kingston HyperX, becouse i thought i keep my OC'd cpu, have more ram, and use them in the future in other "sandy bridge laptop maybe"
After installation My LAPTOP can JUST RUN ON STOCK FSB, if i increase it even by 5 (from 133 to 138) for example i will see a blue screen sooner or later while benchmarking or web browsing.
I THROWN MY MONEY AWAY AND IT SHOULD PERFORM 1000% BETTER.
This one dont keep it stable even below 1333MHZ - !!!!
HELP PEOPLE - HELP !!!! SOUR !!!!

you need to read up on overclocking sandybridge CPUs...
your lucky to get 5 out of it... -

You know kingston modules run at MUCH tighter timings right?
If it's a problem loosen your memory timings. -
As whitrzac hinted at, BCLK overclocking is pretty much dead with Sandy Bridge. You absolutely need a multiplier unlocked CPU to do any overclocking.
This is why many desktop 2500K/2600K users have a 4.8-5 GHz CPU paired with cheap DDR3-1333 memory running at stock speeds. -
Yep overclocking memory is really a big marketing gimmick for laptops, especially with the new CPUs. There are many threads on this, just use the search function.

Just to put a nail in this coffin, the OC 'challenges' of SB are well documented as are the OC requirements (timings, etc) of Kingston HX memory.
Buyers remorse brought about by poor research.
move along, nothing to see here......... -
Edit, irrelevant. Sorry my bad.
HyperX for sandy bridge - SUCKS ALL THE WAY
