Well what do you want to do?
Cry and ask for momy?
This is a rethorical question you are asking...
I suggest you take some time to think about replacing the screen click here -
^sorry?i think his question is quite normal!
which part is "rethorical"? -
ebay is often a good choice for a new screen.

Yes go ebay to save money. If you're in rush and need to fix your laptop asap go for the 'buy it now' option, or buy from ebay shops.
you could turn this laptop into a desktop by removing the broken LCD panel and all its pastics, and then connecting it to an external monitor. -
i have the conection on the back for a monitor but when i plug into this and boot the laptop it shows the windows loading logo but then just uses the shattered screen (looks pretty, like a rainbow)
by removing the broken one, will it use the plugged in monitor or try to use a screen thats not there?? -
You can do that with keyboard shortcuts.
On Dell's it is Fn + F8, on yours it could be different. Just keep hitting it until only the external monitor displays. It takes a few seconds to change it.

for toshiba laptops just wait till windows load and prees Fn+F4 to change to external monitor
I Dropped my Laptop and shattered the screen
