I am so pissed off with the TV Tuner

I ask that it works once a week so I can watch The Office, but it's constantly been ****ing up on me -- I don't know what the hell the problem is.

In Windows Media Center I keep getting very stuttering video (90% green screen) and audio. What USED to fix it was installing the driver and PCE codec, but it seems to have adapted to **** with my head. I have to keep uninstalling the driver & PCE codec, reboot, install, reboot and -- once in a blue moon -- it'll actually work. As of right now, after doing this process three times (it took me 40 minutes [that's right, it takes 40 minutes for me to get ready to watch a TV show]) I'm convinced it's adapted to not work AT ALL.

The TV Tuner is a YUAN MPC622 that came from R&JTech along with this laptop. The driver "installed" on it is MADE for 64-bit machines.

Apparently people have gotten this same green screen/stuttering audio problem before if you search Google, but NONE of these threads have actually resulted in a solution to this problem. Does ANYONE know how to fix it? I have the latest version of Windows Media Center.

I paid a lot of money for my cable subscription being a college student. I'm pissed beyond belief with this piece of hardware (or software, if that's the case). Can anyone help? I would give you all the love in the world.

    Thanks.

I might've fixed it (but who knows)... turns out in addition to the driver and codec there's a seperate YUAN application that runs DVD Encryptions primarily, but also seems to run as a management tool for the TV Tuner. Took me awhile to find it -- didn't come on the CD I was given.
