This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    First link d/led and installed fine.

    Second link still doesnt give exe file, even tried IE.

    This is what im getting when i unzip.

    jeez, just UNDERNEATH those zip file downloads (which I didn't even suggest that you download) is the .exe download for the ICH drivers.

    You're making this a lot harder than it needs to be. Just download the .exe files (SAVE, not run!!!) and only AFTER you've successfully downloaded the .exe file, run them to install. Don't unzip them, don't manipulate them, don't rename them.

    Just download the two .exe files (one for chipset, one for ICH) to a disk location (desktop is fine) and run to install.

    Do the chipset first, reboot. Then the ICH. reboot.

    This is all Windows User 101 level stuff. Not rocket science.
