Just a quick discussion! On my Intel Pentium 3 @ 1.13GHz, 512mb sd-ram, intel socket 775 motherboard, dell optiplex gx150, windows xp home edition sp3, dual-layer 22x dvd burner and a cd-rom. I created a partition using Partition Magic Pro and when it prompted me to restart my computer, it give me the BSOD(blue screen of death) saying that my hardware has been failed/changes to it and restarted again. after a week, i reinstalled windows xp and everyting came back to normal. i did this on my Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.66GHz, 1gb ddr ram, intel socket 775 motherboard, ibm netvista personal computer, windows xp professional corporate sp3, dual-layer 22x dvd burner secur disc and a dvd-rom and nothing went wrong. im like wdf how come it didnt work on my P3 and it worked on my P4! Any suggestions with what went rong? or any ideas to avoid? Also the hard drives for my p4 and p3 are 40gb ide hdd.
