I have a few questions about optimal 128GB SDD setup.

This is by far the biggest size SDD I've had, so I'm still planning out how to adjust to the new legroom.

    1. Which proves more beneficial: Installing the accompanying HDD under a different Drive Letter Assignment, or as a folder within C:? Other than personal taste for your directory structure of course.

    2. Anyone got any updated suggestions (as in rather than just the entire User directory) for OS specific directories to symlink to the HDD to cut down on write cycles? Besides My Documents and other storage directories of course.

    3. Why the hell does Steam lack the ability to designate multiple game download destinations (or hell, pick your destination PERIOD) for the benefit of multi-drive users?!

Basically I'm just pitching overly specific questions on the chance someone might suggest something I haven't thought of or discovered yet in regards to standard SDD usage since I last got up to speed in 2010.

Safe to assume you're using Windows 7?

If so, install the operating system on your SSD. Let Windows create the partition for you on the SSD. Also, if you have a secondary drive, you may want to create junction points to %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Users %SYSTEMROOT%\Temp, etc. (see - Move the Users Directory in Windows 7)
