$500 for a 2.1 speaker system ? Ive only heard of Razer for making gaming mice, this is the first time I saw a speaker system by them. Did you at least read any reviews on those before buying ? You couldve bought a very high end BOSE system or a good quality Logitech, Creative , Altec Lansing 2.1 system for much less.
-
$500 CAD is a little steep. You can get them in the US for $360 USD ($433 CAD) from amazon.
-
I saw that speaker, such a rip. Razer is known for gaming mouse, not speaker, unless we're talking about Altec Lansing or Logitech.
-
no u wenies read the bundle. I get a death adder mako lycosa destructor and pirahna for 499.
-
I would have just bought the razer mouse, and that is all. Saitek and Logitech have better keyboards. Speakers, man for that price you could have had Denon.
You must be a Razer fan
To his their own, if you can justify it costing that much than its fine.
I hope those speakers double up as chairs, they look comfy

I Did Not Just Get Speakers God.

Sorry, we didn't mean to pee in your bowl of cheerios
-
If you get the mouse + keyboard + headset along with the speakers then its not a bad deal. But still, Razor is a newcomer to audio equipment; but who knows, maybe they could turn out to be as good as any other, or they might be just rebranding speakers from a known manufacturer.
-
You overpaid badly.
We answered. -

Logitech G9 (G5 is even less if you prefer the design): http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104079
Ratpadz mousepad: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=9981
Saitek Eclipse II: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175001
Logitech headset: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106931 -
And that keyboard $100 ? Paying more for a mouse I can understand, but $100 for a keyboard ?? -
-
EDIT: and better quality options for the price -
-
ok bud listen up
first of all the ratz pad are bad quality and are worn out in 6 moths to a year.
that headset is garbage.
that mouse is overpriced. the g5 is better.
i was either going to get the habu or death adder because i like big mice
look im some reviews of the mako bud. the z5500 is a good set buy 5.1 is too large for my desk and logitech cheats with there audio by chugging sounds that arnt suppose to threw the sub.
the saitek II eclipse is almost the same price as lycosa. -
I already said I know there's better headsets but I'm not bothering to look for you.
I already also said the G5 may be a better choice.
No Razer audio system is better than the Z-5500's.
Ok, lycosa may be good, I really don't know, but you're overpaying for the bundle as a whole. -
I just got an altec lansing fx5051 5.1 channel sound system from ebay for $115 i belive you got ripped off.
-
the only 5.1 I would consider is z5500s -
This thread is completely garbage, obviously the OP is pretty content with what he has purchased. Some of us have made some valid points here and given some personal opinions concerning budget, what he bought was totally up to OP. The Razor product may be very well an excellent product even for the price, I'm more looking forward to a possible user review from donutbob about these speakers. -
i will do one. before pursjasing i read some speakers reviews on google of the makos. they seemed like they are great but expensive but since I got this great deal I decided to jump on it.
-
There are worse things in life than $500 for speakers. There are people that spend $10,000+ on tube amplification. -
its not 500 dollars for speakers
i get aswell:
death adder
lycosa
destructor
pirahna
AND
the makos -
But yeah, if it's justified for you, then it's justified right?
I just ordered.........
