my processor is the pentium m 725 Dothan.

From multiple source ive found that its minimum value is 0.700 and max can be set to 1.004 V

so shud i do the lengthy procedure in the undervolting guide?

I also have a question regarding that... in the guide its written

now my max multiplier is 16x and min is 6x, so how shud i set my known values?

shud i give 16x, the higher volt of 1.004 and 6x 0.700, shud that be right?

also in the cpuinfo section of RMCPU, my current is 1.0200, startup is 0.988, minimal is 0.700 and max is 1.384

how do i make it so that my startup voltage is also 0.700?

k so i went through with it anyways.

i gave my 16x the value of 1.0200 and my 6x a value of 0.7160, and its running stable.

so i guess i did not screw up anywhere.

Also im using RMClock 2.35 and it wont show my cpu temp.?

in the core temp graph i get "N/A"?? but if i run other apps such as NHC or HWmonitor, it shows me my temp..

how can i get the temp to show in RMclock?

    thankyou

RMClock can read your temps. Just use the other apps to do the monitoring.

thats what i said, RMclock wont read my temp, while the other apps will.

I dont want to open 2 apps for the task that could be achieved with 1 app

RMClock doesn't like the Pentium M. It doesn't read the temp on my Pentium M 740 either. I just have a HWMonitor shortcut handy and run it when I want to check the temps, but it's unlikely that they'll ever be out of spec if you're undervolting in the first place. That being said, you could try another undervolting program like NHC if you want to read the temps as well...

    nm, found it.

i never saw it before cause i have been using it on a celeron processor.

so that raises the question, why cant celeron-m processors be undervolted?
