I am having a difficult time finding a replacement screen for my 8930-6448. I have been looking for ~2 months now and no one carries them.

The model number for the screen is a Samsung LTN184HT01 and the resolution is 1920x1080 WUXGA. If anyone knows if this has one or two CCFL backlight bulbs I would like to know that also.

If someone has any contacts I can try please let me know. I really like this laptop but I can't use it now. I really really need some help!

My question about the backlight type stems from one website saying the model number I posted has two bulbs and other websites mention one bulb so I don't know for sure the right number of bulbs. I can't believe one model number has two different types of bulbs. I think the website stating two bulbs are wrong but I would like to know for sure.

I don't have much knowledge regarding LCD modules, but you can checkout this site. They're not cheap, but I bought a motherboard from them, and they shipped it real quick with a year's warranty.

Dunno how many bulbs your's has got but I think it is not LK.18406.002 because that is a SAMSUNG LTN184KT01-A01. Try looking for a similar sticker on the LCM and compare it with the LCMs available on the site.
