I have a TV with just the 3 RCA sockets, the yellow red and black or white ones, and I`l like to connect my laptop to it to port the audio, either through S-Video or DVI...
Is it possible? is there any adapter that might to that?
I`m looking into cloning my desktop...

I think you should use your headphones port for this - I think you can get a 2 RCA -> 3.5" stereo cable in an audio store.

You can't get audio through S-Video or DVI as there are no audio signals coming out of them. You can however get an S-Video to analog (S video to the yellow plug which is video) and then get a cable that does what iarspider said for your audio. It's basically what I have on my media PC going to my TV, except I have DVI going to the video for the tv and one of those 3.5mm to RCA jacks for the audio.

I have the audio one, I just need to port the video.
At what resolution would it be topped?
Thanks Bchen06 and aespinalc , but the sound one is take care of.
I just need the S-video or Dvi to the video input(the black or white input of the TV).

Oh, lol, if you needed both then you should've just gotten one of these http://www.svideo.com/svideorca.html . Resolution will go as high as your tv will support, if you only have the standard yellow/white/red port, then I'm assuming that you have a standard 480i SDTV.

I should also mention that no matter what you set the resolution to, text will always be fuzzy for s-video but movies will play fine; I'm not sure why but I'm assuming that it has something to do with the resolution differences (and not so much signal quality since movies play very clearly).

So that one ports the video? Cause it`s what I`m looking for, I already have the other cables :D
I`m fine with the resolution, I`ll be only playing videos for my friends from my laptop, It does not really matter .

Yep, the s-video will go to yellow, and the 3.5mm jack will go to red/white. And if you're only playing video then I think you'll be happy with the quality :).

Here are a few you might want to check out:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10401&cs_id=1040114&p_id=2510&seq=1&format=2
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...d=10401&cs_id=1040105&p_id=123&seq=1&format=2
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10207&cs_id=1020704&p_id=3398&seq=1&format=2

If you're not using a HD input (which you aren't) the top resolution you can have is 640x480. However, it is also possible to shrink down a higher resolution picture (with smaller font sizes, icons, etc.) to 480i and just deal with the picture degradation.

No, that's svideo to component, you want s-video to composite. I'll find one for you if you can't find it.

No problem, and unless they all watch blu-ray movies on 1080p tvs, quality shouldn't be an issue.
