    I need help on rams upgrade

    i have never upgrade laptop's rams so i don't know what to start.
    the laptop i using is Sony NR220e has 1gb, i wanted to get 2 or 4 gb.
    CPU is IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® Dual Core T2330
    I when to newegg.com i saw they got
    144-Pin SO-DIMM
    200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM
    200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM
    204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM
    how do i know or to pick which type of rams is right for the this labtop?
    also how to look up the max rams the laptop can use? thanks you

    Google says your laptop supports up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. If you currently have a single 1GB stick, all you need is a second. If you currently have two 512MB sticks, you will need to replace both to get 2GB. Assuming, of course, you have two memory slots in your machine.

    PC4200/4300 200pin SO-DIMM

    That runs @533Mhz if you found PC5300 @667Mhz for less it would work and would downclock to 533Mhz.

    Brand not important. NewEgg is a good place to order from just make sure to get lifetime warranty.
