My computer has 2 batteries a removable Lion and an internal one that has about 1 percent of the removable one I expect it is a capacitor. There is no reason other batteries can't be added to other components. A battery on the hard drive a battery on the ram a battery on the dvd drive. A usb battery and perhaps a solar charger on the back of the screen.

Why would you want so many separate batteries? What happens if the hard drive battery dies but not the others while the system is running? One larger battery is much more logical.

If the hard drive battery dies a cheap to manufacture circuit will take it out of operation and use the main battery then send a malfunction notice to the screen. If the main battery dies this will give the system time to close without crashing.

Gotta keep it simple. One or two large batteries is more logical, cheaper, and much easier to manage. Probably far more reliable too with a longer lifespan.
I need more power.
