    Cheap laptop charger - YouTube

Forgive the droning on...wayyyyyy tired :p

The video is fairly self explanatory the Adapter is from a company called Sibusa http://www.Sibusa.com And cost 12$. Any other questions can likely be answered in the video. But this is a perfect example of why NOT to buy cheap third party products.

P.S they did ship a SECOND one i got in the mail today...it's not much better it fits in..but wiggles like all hell.

Replacement they sent after a couple days use just sparked and died. Sending this one back and demanding a refund then going to local shop and buying a used Dell charger for 30$. Never again...never ...ever...ever

Definitely a crap shoot when buying the cheap chargers and I'm sure the odds are not necessarily in your favor as the consumer to get a good product. Thanks for the video.

Having said that, I bought a cheap charger from either eBay or Amazon (can't remember which now) about 6 months ago for less than $10 as a temp solution until I got my new laptop because I really didn't want to spend much on the old laptop. Of course, I knew it was a risk that I'd get a dud at that price. Thankfully it is still going strong and did not have one issue. It is obviously cheaper made, cord was thinner, not as long, but it did the job so I was happy considering I got it for so cheap. Now it is filed away somewhere with the old laptop not even in use.
