    WOW! Loads of smileys mate!

Don't know if you can overclock with that. Also I wouldn't advise overclocking a notebook as you wouldn't be able to get enough cooling in there to see a noticeable difference.

There is one program called AMDGPUClockTool_v0.7 which you can use to overclock but as I'm an Intel user (for some odd reason) I've never used it so not sure how effective it is.

    Hope this helped!

What is your reason for wanting to overclock your notebook? Do you need 3% more performance? Or are you just bored and looking for something to destroy?

Hard to give good suggestions if you don't say /why/ you're wanting to do this.

Heard might be possible to undervolt and over clock (ClockGen), bored maybe, destroy no. And I was looking for 12.5% speed increase for starters. It has been done successfully by at least 1 NBR member.

Have you tried the AMDGPUClockTool_v0.7? It's supposed to be quite good. I'll try and provide a link in the morning if I can find where I got it from. If not I downloaded it for my mum's computer ages ago so I'll upload it for you.

This is odd, i have an AMD Sempron 3300+ desktop, and the program said no valid devices found.

I have not looked at it yet but I will, I have figured ClockGen out somewhat but am very cautious about implementing it as per “destroy” computer. So that is why any input from people with experience and common sense appreciated. I am figuring out how to undervolt as part of the strategy and on it's own for it's own benefit. Thanks.

Just noticed GPU not CPU w/AMD tool will still check out but not what I need.

yeh yeh yeh...those people are imbeciles who cannot overclock correctly. Disregard those ignorant microsoft junkies.

People who know how to overclock also know how to test for stability.

I've waited long enough so now I can post. 1st of all thanks for the support (I think) 2nd in the link refereed to no computers were harmed, less aggressive overclocking was a viable option. Doom sayers back off!

    Thanks for the support Matt.

Update: went to 2Ghz not stable 1.87Ghz seems stable, stopped undervolting for now more stable with out, heat at Idle unchanged maxed only little higher.
