Stupidly 3 months ago I purchased a Dell Studio 1537 with only a 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3450 card. Due to the other specs of the computer being top end for that model this is now my limiting factor in my performance.

I am wondering if I could replace this card with the 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4570 which Dell is currently offering on the Studio 1555 computers. Can you please let me know what my options might be?

    Thank you.

    Current specs:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz
    Memory: 4GB
    Storage: 320GB 3200RPM ATA
Display Adapters: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series 256Mb
    Removable Media/Storage: DVD/CD-ROM Drives Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-7640S ATA Device

Nope. You can't upgrade your graphics card. It's soldered to the motherboard. End of story. Sell your 1537 and buy a Studio 1555 if you want the 4570.
