    The title says it all, can you upgrade a clevo p150hm from an i5 2520m to an i7 3630qm?

    I think you need AT LEAST to stay in the same family 2520 (Sandy Bridge) vs 3630(Ivy Bridge). Even then you could run into BIOS issues.

    Atleast its the same socket on the desktop market so i thought i might would be possible.

    Can anyone confirm that you can't upgrade?

    you cant, but you can put a quad from the SB family, try to look for the 2670qm

    Same sockets but different microarchitecture. "No soup for you!"

    That's your best bet for an upgrade. :)
