I'm considering this baby and looking at the specs doing a comparison with others processors here :

    Compare Intel® Products,

i saw that this bad boy do have nothing on the the "# of PCI Express Ports" line ?!!

    any idea ?

also no embedded options too .... is it some important thing to consider ?

    thks

Number of PCI express ports was probably accidently missed when updating the website.

No worries, it will be 1 like the rest of the products.

Embedded options is not an issue for consumers. Embedded CPU's are for system designers who need availability of said processor for years to come (typically 7 years) for use in more specialized equipment.

Check wikipedia for turbo boost multipliers.

i series chipsets have 8 PCIe ports for handling the Express card and high speed ethernet, etc.

Like I said earlier there has to be an error in the spec's online, otherwise there would be a problem with compatibility with eDP.

Take a look at the spec sheet for the i5-5xx, i7-6xx to get a better understanding of what I am saying. Sheet 11 has a nice block diagram showing the basic layout.
