I went to crucial to get RAM for my T21 (2648) they provided me with this link
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=68882C7E31D926C3&tabid=&pagename=
problem is that they are out of stock on it and it's the cheepest memory available,
any suggestions on where I can get cheeper memory but reliable for my thinkpad I need to upgrade the memory to 512mb.

You can look on eBay for used. Older ThinkPads can be picky on RAM.

I searched on ebay but am unsure of which to get I have to find out in pc100 is enough or if pc133 will work at the clock rate of 133mhz on my thinkpad.

called up crucial and they said they had it for the price i wanted it for, those other retailers are disgusting trying to over charge for the memory, let you guys know if it works when i recieve it.

Memory prices are like a bell curve. The most produced memory which right now would be DDR2 is often the least expensive unless you can find it used. Older and the newest memory aren't being produced in as high quantities so they don't have the best economies of scale.
