    Today I receive this thermal paste to repaste my clevo 170EM.I notice that this paste is very thick.It is normal or paste is old and dry? Dont know if this spread good under heatsink but I notice 1C drop over arctic silver.

    IC Diamond is very thick. If it' too difficult to work with, you can put it in a sealed baggy and place it in a bowl or sink of hot water for 5 minutes to loosen it up.

    You probably won't see much improvement at idle but at load it should improve a little, but not a lot compared with AS5.

    with foil it is lower 4C in furmak and 8C lower in kombustor
