I'm looking for an adapter from atapi-44 to atapi-50 as i want to install a 2,5" IDE harddisk into my odd-bay.

Can anyone tell me where to get one?

Thank you, but that's not what i am looking for.
I need an adapter for my notebookharddrive so that i can plug it into the connector of my optical drive bay inside my notebook.

I think those optical drive connectors are generally proprietary to the notebook. I don't think you can find an IDE adapter easily. If your ODD drive bay is modular you might be able to find something. What's the laptop model?

it's not proprietary I think, as it is CBB compliant. I found some very interesting Information about the two special ide connectors. They are compatible, but I can't find any adaper to connect them.
