    IDE/SATA to USB 2.0 adapter??

    I was looking for external hard for data back up but found this cable that can connect any hard drive type and odd to computer via usb. Since i have some old hard drives, this really interests me.

    Heres are some models i found.

    Bytecc

    Does anyone have this kind of cable? I wanna know its worth buying.
    If yes, which one should i go with?

    Yes I have one, and it also came with a power adapter, they are worth but if you fix computers, backup HDDS or small projects...

    All of them should perform similar.

    I've had some super-generic model (as in it just says "SATA IDE TO USB" on it) for a couple years now, and it generally hasn't given me any trouble. Between the four you've linked, I'd seriously just get the cheapest one and call it a day. I bet they're all made by the same factory in China anyway.
