    No for the RAM, not completely sure about the HDD.

    Wait just a second, That computer is a piece of junk and not worth your $399 of hard eared cash. Dell vostro's are $549 and are ddr2 unlike that one (and no, that computer does not take ddr2) and come with dc2 processors. And with the vostros you can buy "7200", not 7400 rpm, hard drives from a 3rd party.

    Just checked, dell is now offering 7200 rpm hd for the vostro lineup

    Oh it's saying DDR 266, not DDR2 66.

    It says ddr266 because it is running at 266 mhz. They should have added a space between the ddr and the 266.
