    Hi Everyone:
I just want to add my testimonial to the fact that the LED backlight on my new DELL M1330 is awesome. I don't know if it's worth 150 bucks, but it's beautiful.

It is a lot brighter and thinner. The contrast is a lot better than a normal CCFL screen, because the white light the LED creates is so pure.

I think it was a good move. The $150 more gave you better contrast, a longer lasting screen, no need for an inverter, thinner, and you should get a little extra battery life.
Sounds like the extra money was well worth it.

What resolution panel is your led screen?

I believe the XPS 1330 comes equipped with a resolution of 1280x800 in a 13.3" Widescreen LCD.
LED isn't supposed to contain mercury and thus be more eco-friendly, too. Great purchase in my opinion!
