Dear folks,
I want to have 1GB more memory on my laptop. I wonder where I can buy the memory and how much it costs for me. the other thing is it easy to install it on the laptop or it should be opened completely?
Thanks beforehand for the information.

Just to make clear, by memory you mean RAM right?
-
Yes indeed. sorry for ambiguity.
-
No problem

EDIT:
Here is another therad at NBR as well:

EDIT2:
I just saw that somebudy else had linked the same video in the last therad I linked

Thank you very much.
all the problems solved. just one question. it seems that the 2GB ram price is increasing. the guy in that thread bought it for 28$ which I can not find it for that price. how come? -
You're welcome mate!
I have no idea, however don't forget that; that therad is from 02-16-2009! Lot of things has changed since
-
Yes. also the EUR/USD ratio which is very low now. too bad for me in europe.
-
Yeah, there you have it.
-
also DDR2 RAM is being phased out of production and being replcaced with DDR3.. even atom now uses DDR3... i think we won't be seeing any DDR2 RAM laptop from next year...
-
I changed my mind. here it is 55EUR which is certainly not plausible for me.
I would upgrade the memory to 2GB in my next eee pc
-
We can still get DDR1 ram today so there won't be any problem getting DDR2 for several years. It will just cost more as time goes by.
-
I love your signature!
-
So do I. I put it there to avoid arguments from the Windows 7 Nazi's.
-
I should also have sth like this but instead for ubuntu
Will do that if some problem arises
-
wow that's a little extreme.. anyways , i'm one of windows 7 nazi... and maybe vista.. nver want to use xp after these awesome OSes..
-
Not really. I just get sick and tired of people trying to force me to use an OS I don't like and don't want to use. It's none of their business and they need to learn to keep their noses out it and only express an opinion on the subject when they are asked for it. I have absolutely no use for the morons who act like the OS police in forums. It causes problems for no good reason.
Now shut the frak up about it and let's get back to the original topic.
