This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Is there anyway to increase the maximum brightness level on a notebook monitor? Could you have a stronger bulb or something put in? My girlfriend's notebook seems to have gotten dimmer within the past year, but maybe it's just us.

    You can get a stronger backlight, but it may not be worth the purchase and self installation.

    You may be able to get it fixed through the warranty if its still up.
