    Is there anyway to increase the maximum brightness level on a notebook monitor? Could you have a stronger bulb or something put in? My girlfriend's notebook seems to have gotten dimmer within the past year, but maybe it's just us.

    You can get a stronger backlight, but it may not be worth the purchase and self installation.

    You may be able to get it fixed through the warranty if its still up.
