Not sure if this is the proper place for this one (I half felt it should go under a more program oriented area).

I called up Dell last week and with my warranty they agreed to send over a technician to my house (because, I'd void the warranty if I did it, sigh) to replace the motherboard, due to overheating problems. So far my computers been running for an hour with the new motherboard with reduced heat (the vents were cleaned out during this unique non-warranty-voiding-experience, so that is likely the reason I suspect). Anyhow, getting to the question at hand.

At the start-up of my computer with the new motherboard, here is what I discovered that was different.
    A. My clock time/date was off - Fixed.
    B. My notebooks is "questioning" the validity of "internet certificates" that it never questioned in the past, saying they seem inappropiate (they aren't, as far as I can tell) - Uncertain
    C. Windows XP has MAGICALLY gained a new program that was not there 5-minutes before the technician came. It's called "Windows Card Space" and the proccess under the task manager is called "InfoCard". From what I gather, it is something of a monitoring software (perhaps that is a bit harsh in wording) and I find myself wondering why a new motherboard gave me this sudden new program. This PARTICULARLY upsets me, as I am UNABLE to end the process in my task manager without having to use "HiJackThis" and other relatable programs. - Anyone know about this program and consider it problematic?
    D. My internet browser keeps crashing when I visit notebookreview.com, but no other sites are causing me too crash....Every forum topic after I click "Discussion" has a 50% chance of crashing the browser. I've crashed dozens of times in this past hour, blah! - Help!?

My thinking is that it might be the drivers? Unsure. If it were old, it shouldn't have had InfoCard. If its newer, then it might explain the InfoCard, but doesn't explain my newfounded problems. Any ideas guys?

Lol, any thoughts out there either on the InfoCard or why a new motherboard only causes THIS website to crash (as far as I've seen)? It's a bit strange.

it is a strange situation you have here, but I think it is normal.

I have also had infocard come up, but I just stopped it from showing with MSCONFIG.
I dont know exactly what infocard does, but I shut off things which I do not use, and I know I dont use it.
Why it comes up is beyond me, but it can be shut off.

If you are using internet explorer with nbr than this is quite normal. I have the same issue when using Internet explorer.
NBR only seems to work with firefox, so download firefox and that should solve your stability problems.

Firefox doesn't work on my machine (don't ask), lol.
This computer is more or less riddled with holes and problems, I plan to completely wipe it down and reformat it (because I'll have a new computer by then). At which point, I'll either sell it, loan it to a friend I know, or use it as a back-up for whatever.
I can't even run XML code on this computer. Most PDF documents don't open. Flash videos rarely work. So on and so forth. Even though I've used Spybot, Ad-Aware, AVG, Defender, and Norton on this machine, as well as updating all my drivers and so forth. Ha-ha. It's got something wrong with it, that's for sure.
I'll keep that in mind that IE doesn't like NBR, though, lol. Thanks.
