I've done it a few times without any problem. but some computers may be more tolerant than others to having this happen.

Perfectly fine... In all my years using different laptops, it hasn't caused an issue..

Super. Mine is too heavy for the docking stand with the battery in, so I have to put it in if I want to move around.
-
I wouldn't do it. Maybe because I'm an ultra careful person.
-
Shouldn't be a problem really, it's made to work that way AFAIK.
-
I do it all the time aswell.
Notebook batteries are meant to be hot swappable. -
Yep, there is no need to worry.
-
Be careful, such activity can cause a chain reaction in the nuclear reactor's in some laptops ie:chernobyl, or it could just charge your battery.
-
How about removing the battery when the laptop is switched on and on AC power? I suppose it's alright too?
-
It's meant to be hotswapable as said -
what about pulling battery out and plugging ac in at the same time? jk jk
-
I've done it many times. I have even taken out the battery while it's been plugged in. But that may be a whole different story.
-
Umm, i just answered that question and that's exactly the same as putting the battery in while you have the AC plugged in. I don't see anything "different" from doing the reversed thing
Inserting battery while laptop is powered on?
