    Hi all,
    my Inspiron 1525 came with the T2330, the GM965 Chipset (SouthBridge 82801 HBM ICH8-DO), X3100 GPU.

    What's the most powerful CPU I can fit in as a replacement?

    T9500, But get the T9300 for $319 from NewEgg. Or for a better value T8300 for just over $200. Oh I am not including extreme that TDP does not match yours.
