Hey, I'm getting this laptop from dell, and it says 3GB dual channel RAM. Soo... does the 1525's MOBO support Flex mode, meaning can it do dual channel with 3GB (2gb stick and a 1gb stick) ... using only 1gb from the 2gig stick and dual channeling it with the other gig stick, leaving the remaining 1gig left on the 2gb stick to run in single channel mode?

Yes the motherboard can run dual channel with 3gb of memory.
It will only run in single channel mode if only one memory card is installed.
WHen two memory cards are installed in your system regardless of size, and speed they will be running in dual channe.
