I was wondering if anyone has successfully over clocked the memory on their 9300. I was thinking of trying it and wanted to get some feedback before I did, don't want to blow up my laptop!!

    Thanks

If you try overclocking your memory, that may void your warranty. Your memory in the i9300 is already running at 533MHz (effective) - you are not going to be able to get it high enough so you will see any sort of peroformance increase. Overclocking the memory is very risky, because you are taking the chance that you could burn it out.

Certainly it is possible to overclock it - but it won't give you any performance increase.

Your processor's FSB is already at 533 Mhz, so overclocking the memory wouldn't help anyway because it is also at 533 Mhz. The only benefit you would get is if you had 400 Mhz memory but iI don't believe the 9300 has that.
