    HI all,

I would like to upgrade the current SSD inside my Vaio SVS13A2X9 to a Samsung Evo 840 512Gb, however the current (256Gb) has a non starndard SATA connector.
I have been searching here and seems that buying the ribbon cable with P/N: A1921021A (Sony V121 HDD FPC HIGH), a SSD with standard SATA connector can be set.

I would appreciate if someone has replaced this part and can provide some clear information about the required cable.

    Thanks in advance!
