I just replaced an HDD with a brand new Samsung 860 EVO 500GB drive, but the computer doesn't show it in "this pc device and drives" (The operating system is on the 256GB M.2 HD). It does show up under device manager, and it says it's working properly. What should I do?

I found a helpful Youtube video that solve the problem.

New Hard Drives come blank, no partition ,file system and so forth,, use a usb enclosure and initialize the drive thru disk management where you can partition, format, change drive letter, ect a drive. In the unlikely event Windows does not see the drive installed or not thru disk management, you can initialize the drive thru free Mini Tool Partition Wizard and so forth with it installed.

Any drive partitioning software, even Windows built-in disk management snap-in can be used for provisioning.
New storage medium, be it SSDs, HDDs, etc will come unprovisioned from the factory. -
Thanks for the helpful replies.
Installed new Samsung SSD in my MSI GT80, but the computer doesn't see it.
