I must be an idiot, i can't seem to find how to get windows to recognise my new msata.

I installed it on my x220, and my bios and cmd screens can see it, but not windows. I suppose it either needs to be formatted, or a drive letter assigned (or both)

    How do I do this?

I tried to install my full backed up OS to it and it failed because it said there was not enough space (but there should be plenty)

Is there something I need to enable?

I went into disk management (no idea how i got there)
seems i have a "signature collision".
So i think maybe they were both trying to steal the C drive slot
anyway i right clicked it and clicked online and all seems good now!
