    Hi,
    Could someone please tell me how do I install windows 8 in this laptop, I am thinking of buying this and swapping my old hard drive which has 8.1 installed, I am not sure whether it will work, the laptop advertised as DOS and without any OS.

    You will have issues if you just "swap" hard drives from one laptop to another with an OS installed. It will require different drivers, and how the boot and sata controllers are set up. And depending on which version of Windows 8.1, if it's OEM it will not work, since OEM versions are tied to specific machines. If it is a full version of Windows 8.1 you can just install it on that laptop, with the product key that came with the Win 8.1 OS.

    That laptop says DOS installed because they didn't want to pay for the Windows license to install it, and for users who have their own OS to install.
