Does anyone have tips for installing a second harddrive on the Asus G74? Mine came with 1 harddrive, I have an SSD I want to add as the second drive, it came with the harddrive bracket, and it came with a separate connector and cable, For the cable it has 2 blue tabs, do those go up or down? Theres a place on the case that looks like must be where the other end of the cable goes, but I'm not exactly sure how.

Does anyone have screen shots, video or detailed instructions how?

I've installed harddrives in desktops numerous times, but never a laptop.

    TIA!

What ssd do you have? Mine came with cables, but that was for transfering data. My drive fits right in to the connector in the drive bay. I did this on a G73 dual bay, one hdd and added the ssd. I don't have the G74, so can't say it is exactly the same, but check if the ssd without any cables on it fits the sata connection.
