    Hello,

I was wondering if I should purchase my Vaio FW with integrated graphics or the ATI graphics card. The two options are:

1)Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with Intel® Clear Video Technology
    2)ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470 with 256MB vRAM

If I don't plan on doing any extreme gaming, will the ATI card provide a significant performance boost, or any at all? Will the ATI card make other tasks perform faster?

    Thanks

GPU is not only good for gaming, but will also help in HD videos.

If battery life is a big concern to you, then maybe you should consider the IGP, many people claimed that they get much better battery life with an IGP. If that's not a concern to you, then go with the ATI.

Get the dedicated ATI gpu it will boost overall performance with light gaming and video watching.

I would get the ati card because if you ever plan on gaming you have the ability too. Also intergrated cards will steal memory from your ram so if you have a dedicated card you wont be losing that memory. Also i second the battery life note.
