Hello All,
Question for the techies out there. I am reveiwing several brands of notebook for purchase and I see that all the notebooks state "integrated graphics" or similar. Some notebooks will mention "128MB NVIDIA" graphics and others will not. My understanding is that all notebooks have integrated graphics (vs say desktops where video cards can be removed and upgraded) but not all notebooks have an NVIDIA card or other name brand. Right?
Secondly, wouldn't a notebook with a namebrand card be better than just "integrated" graphics?
My notebook needs are pretty standard except I do want to play World of Warcraft. The specs for WoW are very basic and I would like a machine that can run WoW. I don't need a machine that is too high end though.
Thanks, Bill

There are dedicated video cards on notebooks, but almost everyone are not user upgradeable. Avoid integrated cards that aren't intel, nvidia or ati. Some vendors put nvidia 128mb even when the card is integrated, it would be a nice thing if you used the which notebook should I buy forum.
