Im planning on going from 2gb to 4gb pretty soon but was wondering would adding more have any effect on the graphic cards performance? The card is a nvidia 7150m with 128mb of dedicated memory with up to 760mb of shared memory.

7150m is dedicated? Didn't know that. Probably little performance improvement (could be wrong though since I'm not a expert in this area).

The nvidia 7150 is an integrated graphics card which just so happens to have 128mb of memory soldered onto the motherboard for it to use.
Upgrading the memory from 2gb to 4gb will give a pretty significant increase in performance if you are using windows vista. As far as the increase in graphics power, well its going to be a small increase, but an increase nontheless. Its a integrated graphics card, so it will not be able to game even with 4gb of memory.

I ran GTA Vice City on my inspiron 1545 with 3bg ram and 4500mhd intel integrated graphics very well.
But later games won't from what i've heard.
My system runs with Vista able to run Firefox as fast as normal as the GTA is minimised for what it's worth.
Integrated graphics card + more ram = ?
