    Ok so first of all this is my first SSD i have updated the firmware put my os on it and already downloaded the intel toolbox. i have this mounted in a m17xr3 and well pan on playing a decent amount of games and various other things. what do i need to do to maximize performance on this thing or whatever else ?

    Run CrystalDiskMark 3.0 (portable edition) and compare your scores with other results you can find on Google.

    ok here it is this seems to be low :S i have it set for ACHI or whatever it is in bios it also has latest drivers.

    SSD Life is reporting 100% health though.

    If your laptop has SATA III the SSD doesn't seem to be running in SATA III.

    You might want to ask your fellow m17xr3 owners.
