    No new firmware updates have been released. I think the latest firmware is date 01/2011.

    the intel 510 series is uper compatible and is ones of the best SSD on the market along with vertex and crucial.

    I put a new Intel 510 120G SSD in my new m18x and it was real slow to boot and finally got it to boot a lot faster by disabling LPM. I thought Intels firmware or RST automatically disabled LPM but maybe not in my case. I just wanted to post this in case anyone else has the same problem.

    The error message I got is:

    The device, \Device\Ide\IaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period.
