Hi,
I am experiencing a strange behavior with my intel 660p nvme under Windows 10 OS, especially when the OS is not properly shut down. booting is fine and everything but I've observed (and happened to me twice now) that it's always adding 5 folders ( Compressed, Documents, Music, Programs, Video). Even if I delete these files, and when you shut down (and unplug the power plug) and re-plug the power and turn on the PC again, the files will automatically add on the directory.
the only temporary solution i know is to make a fresh install of windows, but if the PC is not properly shut down again, then this problem occurs.
This doesn't happen with my samsung 860 evo SSD. And I am just planning to make the samsung evo a primary hard drive again and make this 660p a storage file which is a bit frustrating though.
Can someone give me an advise as how to have a solution with this problem?
I have a ryzen 2600x with an asrock B450m steel legend motherboard.
Intel 660P got the latest firmware V3.0.7

You can use the Intel SSD Toolbox to force flush the cache.

Thanks for the advise mates. I've talked to intel rep and told me to do a low level format which I did. I also did a secure erase via partition magic then another low level format. I will observe for several weeks and see if the advise given to me by intel rep is the solution to my problem.
