This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HP, Dell and more are releasing notebooks with this platform. The platform is supposed to consist of a low power Core 2 Duo derived processor and Intel chipset ( link). The MSI and Acer use existing low power C2D's, but there will be new ones, likely to be in the HP and Dell notebooks.

    I can't wait to see what the Dell 11.6" looks like. It's price starts at only $499.

    These new processors will open to a new breed of ultra portable notebooks that are of the same size as netbooks.. Very good news indeed.
