Does anyone know what's going on with the Intel Celeron Dual-Core processors? A 1.73GHz T1400 and 1.86GHz T1500 were introduced last July, but I never saw them offered on any notebook. They appear to be warmed over versions of the previous-generation Pentium Dual-Core T2370 and T2390, with half the L2 cache (512mb).
The 1.67GHz T1600 and 1.83GHz T1700 were released in two months ago. They have a faster 667MHz FSB and 1mb of L2 cache, which fits them in under the outgoing Pentium Dual-Core T3200 (now moving to Penryn architecture as the T4200). Performance-wise, they appear to fill the void between the 2.16GHz Celeron 585 (single core) and the 2.0GHz Pentium Dual-Core T3200/T4200.
But I've not heard a peep about them in any products.....anyone have any info?

Well, based on a quick Google search, there's at least one Acer with the T1400, a Fujitsu with the T1500...

But yeah, it doesn't look like there's much of a demand when the PDC is probably that much better and not that much more expensive. I think it's really the same situation with the desktop Celeron Dual-Cores as well.
Intel Celeron Dual-Core...are they being used in ANYTHING?
