Hey there guys,
Here is my issue. I purchased an Intel 6200 wifi card from amazon. Got here yesterday, and I spent practically all day trying to get the thing to work. From what I have read on the ROG forums and all around the net, this card should almost be plug n play, with the exception of having to install manual drivers. Here is the issue. When I uninstalled the stock Artheros card and plugged the new Intel one in, Windows did its driver push, but failed as it could not find drivers. So I manually installed drivers directly from the Intel website, and the card started to show up in Device Manager but it had an error code that read "This device cannot start" (Code 10). Supposedly this is a driver issue, but I tried 4 or 5 different drivers, and nothing worked. Had a strong suspicion that the card was DOA, so I contacted the seller and they said they will ship me another one ASAP.
Here is my question, this card should work in my laptop, right? I have seen numerous posts stating it should. Also, what is the correct driver I should be using? I have also read that it is the 13.5 driver, but should I install the driver alone or the software package that intel provides that has the driver in it?
Thanks in advance!

Personally, i'm running 15.1 and having no problems what so ever, just get the latest adapter form Intel's website. Also, yeah the adapter should basically be PnP.

I called Asus support (dont know why, lol) and the rep pointed me in the direction of drivers for the Intel 6200 straight from Asus. I am going to try these when I get home tonight, as maybe an Asus driver will help. Will post back with results, but it will not be til much later. Thanks for your quick reply too.

No luck... tried 3 different drivers straight from Asus and got nothing. Still the same "This device cannot start" BS. Now convinced that the card is DOA. Will be getting a new one from the seller.
