I am looking to buy a new labtop but i do not know what processer to get.

Either the Centrino Duo (T2450) or the Pentium Dual-Core (T2080)?

I will mostly just be going online, downloading music, and doing a little gaming.

Which on would you think you be the best fit for me?

Look up centrino on Wiki and then you will understand the difference. Centrino is not based solely on a CPU and its not in any way better.

    The Centrino has:

    160 GB HD

    1GB DDR2 Ram

    2GHz

    2MB L2 Cache

    533MHz front bus

    The Pentium Dual-core has:

    120 GB HD

    1.73GHGz

    1MB L2 Cache

and everything else is the same

The video card is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (shared) on both

The 2450 is a better; faster. That said real world will work about the same for what you ask. The GMA 950 is going to affect the gaming on both. Price difference is how I would choose.

Go for the T2450 machine, it is superior in many respects including CPU cache and clock speed, as well as a larger hard drive. Check and compare the spindle speeds of the hard drives in both machines.

It depends on price. The core Duo machine is probably worth it for around $50-100 more but if it's over $100 more then it's not so worth it for your usage. If they're a similar price take the Core Duo machine.
