    I can't seem to find where I can download the latest Intel Chipset installation program (for clean install core i5). When I search the intel download site all I can find is this desktop chipset.

    Check out dell.com and then go to support, drivers. Choose your model and you'll find what you're looking for.

    yawn. That installer works for most/all intel chipsets, mobile & desktop, from the past 5+ years.

    run your system up in this order:

    update system bios first (if necessary)
    os install
    chipset driver (which is really not much more than inf updates)
    specific device drivers
