    What is the rumored release date for the Intel Clarksfield mobile processors? I have seen some articles claiming October and one for September. I'll probably be upgrading my laptop end of year if the Clarksfield makes it to market.

    Yeah. Clear out the old stock with holiday shoppers and then cash in on the early adopters for the new year. Probably the strategy :(

    Well the processors are released near the end of the year.

    I'm not sure if thats enough time for laptop manufacturers to implement them into their refresh of laptops.

    As to the actual date you (as a customer) will have it in your hands... I'd say at least a month after that date, if you're lucky.

    Well he wants it by the end of the year so it'll be perfect for him. Clarksfield is going to be good.
