I have read the Commander's post on processor compatibility, but I wanted to make sure. Is there any way to get a Core 2 Duo 7700 to work in a Sony Vaio SGN SZ1?

I have tried the latest Bios update.

Thanks for you help and advice.

No T2500 is socket M T7700 is socket P. You may be able to get T7200/7400/7600 to work as all are socket M.
