    Unfortunately their conclusion was not what many had hoped for.

    **EDIT** They also say battery life was not as good.

    well because the jump from core duo to core 2 duo wasnt nearly as big of a jump vs the Pentium D vs core 2 duo which isn't based on NetBurst anymore which is what was intels problem competing with Athlon X2's was in the first place. Since the Pentium D was kind of a "flop" core 2 duo is huge jump but core duo was and is a big succee for intel
